MAINTENANCE

CAUTION: DISCONNECT THE ANALYSER FROM THE POWER SUPPLY BEFORE
REMOVING THE COVER.
REMOVE ANY MINOR SPILLAGES OR STAINING. The equipment should be
disconnected from the power supply and carefully wiped with a damp cloth. Avoid spilling
fluids into the cuvette chamber. Always allow the equipment to dry out before use.
In order to prevent damage to the analyser tubing the pipette tip must be changed at the
start of every working day. Use a fresh pipette tip every time the assay specificity is
changed.

CHANGING FUSES.

both fuses and replace any that have blown. Push the fuse holder back into its fitting.

7.2

REPLACING TUBING

7.2.1
Replacing internal tubing
7.2.1.1 Prime the analyser with air.
7.2.1.2 Disconect the analyser from the power supply and remove any buffer from the
drawer at the front of the analyser.
7.2.1.3 Turn the analyser over and remove the seven cover retaining screws. Stand the
analyser upright.
7.2.1.4 Carefully lift the cover and place it top down to the right of the anayser, taking care
not to disconnect any of the cables.
7.2.1.5 Pull the damaged length of tubing from its connector(s) and discard it.
7.2.1.6 Fit the new length of tubing by pushing it onto the connector(s) and pass it through
the guides.
7.2.1.7 Replace the cover and fix using the seven retaining screws. Refit any bottles of
buffer.
