Practical recommendations:
Do not insert hot drinks, which are at room
temperature, inside.
Close the door quickly when it is used, this
ensures that there is no sudden change in the
interior temperature.
POWER FAILURE
Most power failures are corrected within a few
hours and should not affect the temperature of
your appliance if you minimize the number of
times the door is opened. If the power is going
to be off for a longer period of time, you need
to take the proper steps to protect your
contents.
ENERGY SAVING TIPS
The Wine cooler should be located in the
coolest area of the room, away from heat
producing appliances, and out of the direct
sunlight.
One characteristic of thermoelectric units is the
length of time it requires to recover from having
the door opened and shut frequently. It may be
necessary to wait longer for the temperature to
return to its former level once the door has
been opened for too long. This is normal for
this type of unit.
Cleaning
Disconnect the appliance from the mains and
allow it to cool before undertaking any cleaning
task.
Wash the inside surfaces with a warm water
and baking soda solution. The solution should
be about 2 tablespoons of baking soda to a
quart of water.
Wash the shelves with a mild detergent
solution.
Wring excess water out of the sponge or cloth
when cleaning area of the controls, or any
electrical parts.
Wash the outside cabinet with warm water and
mild liquid detergent. Rinse well and wipe dry
with a clean soft cloth.
Do not use solvents, or products with an acid
or base pH such as bleach, or abrasive
products, for cleaning the appliance.
Do not let water or any other liquid get into the
air vents to avoid damage to the inner parts of
the appliance.
Never submerge the appliance in water or any
other liquid or place it under running water.
