16. Maintenance and Servicing
Depending on the quality of the water, the local conditions and the rules and
regulations applicable on site, the fitting must be maintained and serviced at regular
intervals.
Perform maintenance on the following components:

16.1 Switch the fitting into the cleaning mode via the AQUA 3000 open system software.

Switch the fitting into the cleaning mode via an external switch on the ECC function
controller.

Disconnect the cable connection between the fitting and the electric T-junction.
16.2 Properly use suitable cleaning agents that are not harmful to the fittings and rinse
with water after use. High-pressure cleaners must not be used for cleaning.
17. Replacing an Aerator
17.1 Use the special wrench (b; see
aerator (a).
18. Replacing the Grit Filters
Filter for corner valve
18.1 Close the corner valves (c).
18.2 Trigger the valve.
18.3 Unscrew the connector hoses (a) from the corner valves.
18.4 Replace the grit filters (b).
18.5 Reassemble in the reverse order.
