8. 1. 3 WASHING
IMPORTANT
Do not wash any part of the machine in a dishwasher.
ATTENTION
Before any cleaning operation, always unplug the
dispenser from the mains or turn off the external wall
switch.
1 Fill a basin with approximately one gallon of hot water (45-
60°C) and sodium hypochlorite (bleach) at a ratio of 1 table-
spoon per 2 litres of water; indeed, a solution that is too con-
centrated may damage the parts to be washed, whereas one
that is too diluted may not clean properly. Do not use any abra-
sive detergents.
IMPORTANT
In order to prevent damage to the dispenser, use only
detergents that are compatible with the plastic parts.
2 In order to avoid damaging the dispenser, only use deter-
gents that are compatible with plastic components.
ATTENTION
While washing the dispenser, do not use excessive
amounts of water around the electrical components. This
could cause electric shocks or damage to the dispenser.
3 Wash the evaporator cylinder, the upper tank and the con-
necting pipe using the brush supplied with the unit.
4 Rinse all washed parts under running water.
8. 1. 4 SANITISING
Sanitising must be done immediately before starting up the
dispenser. Do not allow it to remain idle for a long time after
sanitisation.
Sanitization must be performed whenever the distributor is
put back into operation with a new product.
1 Before starting the procedures described below, wash your
hands with antibacterial soap.
2 Pour about eight litres of a solution made of hot water (45-
60 °C) and sodium hypochlorite (bleach) at a ratio of 1 table-
spoon per 2 litres of water.
3 Immerse all parts to be sanitised in the solution for the time
indicated by the product manufacturer.
4 Allow the sanitised parts to air dry on a clean surface.
5 Dry the external parts of the dispenser without using abra-
sive cloths.
8. 1. 5 REFITTING ECOAT (OPTIONAL)
1 Click open the two parts. (see figure 16).
2 Remove the left-hand part and then the right-hand part of
the recover. (see figure 17)(see figure 18).
8. 1. 6 ASSEMBLY
