V. BEFORE FIRST USE
Upon receipt of the goods, check the packaging for integrity and open it. If the packaging is damaged, please contact your
transport company and distributor within 3 days and document the damages as detailed as possible. Do not turn the package
upside down! When transporting the package, please ensure that it is kept horizontal and stable. The various items used for
packaging (cardboard, plastic straps, polyurethane foam) should be conserved, so that the machine can be sent back to the
service centre in the best condition in case of any problems!
VI. ASSEMBLING THE MACHINE
Location of the machine
Check if the machine is not damaged before installing it at the work station. Make sure that the load bearing structure on
which the machine is installed is sufficiently strong to withstand the weight of the load and machine. Do not install the
machine on a structure that cannot be verified in terms of load bearing capacity and strength. The user is responsible for the
installation of the load bearing structure and for the load bearing structure itself.
When the machine is suspended on the load bearing structure, caution and all conditions for safe work must be ensured in
order to avoid any threats connected with potential bodily injuries.
Check if the hoist's magnets are dirty and clean them if necessary before resuming any further operation.
Make sure the lifted material is clean and without traces of corrosion.
Action
Assembling the magnetic hoist
Make sure to correctly fix the interlock lever with a screw, as shown in the picture below.

Switching on/off
Place the magnetic hoist in the middle of the lifted material. Move the interlock lever to the left, to the "ON" position, until
the safety closure is engaged. Then gently lift the load and make sure it is properly fixed. If not, lower the load immediately
and fix the material again to ensure it is fixed properly. Lift the material to the desired height and move it using protective
gloves and holding the material on its sides (corners). To disengage the hoist press the button disengaging the safety closure,
located at the end of the lever, and move the lever to the left, to the "OFF" position.
Storage
The machine must be always stored without load. Dirt must be removed. The machine must be stored in a dry place. Before
using the machine again make sure to follow the steps described in these instructions.
Inspections
Before being used, the new or repaired machine must be checked by qualified technical personnel who have knowledge and
experience within the scope of operation and maintenance of this type of machine.
The machine must be checked regularly by means of visual control of the machine's condition, before, during and after use.
The check must be performed by the machine's operators. Any irregularities in machine operation as well as any damage
must be reported to the proper technical personnel. Do not use the machine if damage or any irregularities in its operation
were found.

Inspection and maintenance dates
PRELIMINARY INSPECTION: Before first use. All new or repaired machines must be checked by a qualified and
competent person to ensure the machine meets the requirements of this operating manual.
DAILY INSPECTIONS:
Check fixing of the interlock lever.
Check cleanliness of the fixing surface.
Check fixing of the shackle/clevis.
REGULAR INSPECTIONS (recommended as monthly):
Check the fixing surface for signs of damage, if it is damaged (>10%) have it replaced.
Check for possible damage to interlock lever and fixing screw.
PERIODICAL INSPECTIONS (every second year)
In order to ensure safety the correct operation of the magnetic hoist and its technical condition must be
tested.
Possible hazards during use
The hazards that can occur during use of the machine are mechanical hazards. The mechanical hazard occurs in situations in
which injuries can result from mechanical impact of various elements, e.g. machine parts, tools, etc. on people.
The basic mechanical hazards include squeezing, crushing, cutting, impact; puncture; abrasion; as well as slipping and stumbling.
These hazards can occur both during normal machine operation and as a result of irregularities in machine operation. These
irregularities might result in machine failure.
The mechanical hazards can result from: moving machines, transported loads, moving elements, sharp/rough elements,
dropping elements/loads, slippery uneven surfaces, limited space, location of the work station in relation to the ground
(work at heights and in depths).
VII. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
The magnetic hoist must be cleaned regularly. Upon completion of work make sure to remove all dirt from the fixing
surface and the machine itself. After a prolonged period in which the machine was not in use gently lubricate the fixing
surface with grease. If the fixing surface is covered with rust, remove rust and lubricate the fixing surface. If rust cannot be
removed, the fixing surface must be replaced with a new one. All and any hoist maintenance and inspection activities must
be carried out by a trained and qualified employee. They cannot be conducted by a person without proper experience and
knowledge.
VIII. REGULAR CONTROL OF THE MACHINE
Regularly check the machine for signs of damage. If it should be damaged, please stop using it immediately and contact your
customer service to solve the problem.
What to do in case of a problem?
Please contact your customer service and prepare following information:
Invoice number and serial number (the latter is to be found on the technical plate on the machine).
If relevant, a picture of the damaged, broken or defective part.
It will be easier for your customer service clerk to determine the source of the problem if you give a detailed and
precise description of the matter.
The more detailed your information, the better customer service will be able to solve your problem rapidly and efficiently!
CAUTION: Never open the machine without the authorization of your customer service. This can lead to a loss of
warranty!
The machine does not contain any substances harmful to one's health, its parts are made of metal. After withdrawal from
service, the machine must be transferred to a scrap yard. Observe the environmental protection regulations of the given
country.
