• We recommend that you use tender meat in the grill. If the meat you want
to cook is tough, we recommend that you marinate it (e.g. in milk) the night
before.
• Fruits like pineapple and papaya contain an enzyme that breaks down pro-
teins. This makes meat tenderer.
• Avoid piercing the meat to prevent it from drying out. Use tongs when you
want to move it.
• Try to turn the food once only, for if you do it more often, the food will get
dry.
• When you turn fish, use a long, flat spatula.
• You can use the grill as a tray, taking it straight to the table to keep the
food hot. To do so, unplug it.
