6 U S E F U L T I P S
6.1 THE FOLLOWING IS ABSOLUTELY FORBIDDEN WHEN THE
EQUIPMENT IS IN USE (Fig. 1):
- It is forbidden to open the safety cap (1).
- It is forbidden to open the draining cock (11).
- It is forbidden to move the equipment while the switches are turned on.
- It is forbidden to unplug the equipment while the switches are turned on.
- It is forbidden to shut-off the water supply tap (Fig. B).
- It is forbidden to remove the supply container (Fig. A);
- It is forbidden to cover the equipment with foreign objects.
- It is forbidden to disconnect the pipe of the solenoid valve (2).
- It is forbidden to abandon the equipment, even for very short periods, while it is switched on; proceed as
instructed in the following section entitled "TURNING OFF" if you should need to abandon it.
6.2 WHAT TO DO AT THE END OF THE JOB
- TURN OFF – Simply switch off switch (6) and switch (7).
- Loosen the safety cap (1), remembering to screw it back in place when you use the equipment again.
- If the equipment is connected to the main water supply, shut-off the supply tap (Fig. B).
- Shut-off the supply tap.
- Make sure the generator cannot be knocked.
6.3 MAINTENANCE AND PERIODIC SAFETY INSPECTIONS (Fig. 1)
THE MANUFACTURER DECLINES ALL FORMS OF LIABILITY IF THE USER SHOULD FAIL TO
OBSERVE THE INTERVENTION TIMES AND METHODS STATED BELOW:
- Every 6 months, make sure the steam discharge nozzle in the safety cap (1) is not clogged.
- Once a year, replace the safety cap (1) with relative seal kit.
- Every two years, check the correct calibration and efficiency of the command and control equipment
using special tools, such as the solenoid valves, pressure switches, gauges and thermostats (5).
- Check the electrical power supply plug and cable of the equipment on a daily basis and replace every 2
years whatever the case.
- Check the electrical cable and the pressure steam pipes of the utility on a daily basis and replace them
every 2 years whatever the case.
- Empty the boiler through the draining cock (11), but only when the gauge (5) reads zero pressure.
6.4 RECOMMENDED MAINTENANCE AND INSPECTIONS
- On a periodic basis, make sure no scale has formed in the boiler; if you should notice any scale, remove
it and discharge it via the dedicated draining cock (11).
- Keep the heating element clean in particular and replace it every 2 years of operation.
ATTENTION! If you should notice any anomalies, switch the equipment off
immediately, contact the service centre and give this instruction handbook to the
service technician to consult when making any repairs.
