PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This filter serves to filter water in an aquarium
and maintain the water circulation. All filter
types are interior filters and are therefore in‐
stalled submerged inside the aquarium. Intended
use
BioCompact 25/50, referred to in the following as
"unit", may only be used as specified in
the following:

Operation under observance of the technical
data.
The following restrictions apply to the unit:

Only use indoors and inside the aquarium.

Do not use for commercial or industrial pur‐
poses.

Do not use in conjunction with chemicals,
foodstuff, easily flammable or explosive sub‐
stances.

ASSEMBLING THE UNIT

N O T E
Thoroughly rinse out all filter material
with warm tap water before using for the
first time in order to remove any soiling.
(→ Cleaning or replacing the filter media)

The supplied suction cups serve for fastening the
unit to a clean, smooth surface.
How to proceed:
 A
1. Remove the lid of the filter container.
2. Pull out the foam filter.
3. Pull off the motor housing.
4. Push the suction cups into the mounting holes
of the filter container and motor housing with
a twisting movement.
5. Reassemble the unit in the reverse order.
6. Adjust the flow at the flow regulator.
– To reduce the flow: Move the flow regula‐
tor in the direction Min.
– To increase the flow: Move the flow regu‐
lator in the direction Max.
7. Fit the water distributor.
