ELECTRICAL CONNECTION

• Before connecting the appliance make sure that the voltage and frequency rated on the data plate
conform to those of the mains supply.
WARNING! A double pole trip switch with a least 3mm between the contacts must be installed
between the unit and the mains supply.
• Connect the control and security device wires.
• Connect the power supply cable to the device.
• Do not use cables with aluminium conductors; do not solder the ends of cables which are to be
inserted into the binding posts; use cables which are marked T min 85°C and are resistant to atmos-
pheric agents.
• The terminal wires must be positioned in such a way that both the wire and the insulating sheath are
tightly fastened (plastic binding is sufficient). Where possible use the supplied cable clamp.

24V ac 5W output, powering external devices (Photoelectric cells, etc.)
FTCI (contact NC) security device input ( inverting photocells during closing). The opening
14
of this contact will provoke a travel direction inversion during closure due to the cutting in
of the safety device.
15
FTCS (normally closed contact) Safety and control devices in input (photoelectric cells
stopping the gate when an obstruction is detected). The gate will start moving again auto-
matically once the object or obstruction has been removed and after the pause time has
elapsed until it reaches a travel limit (only in the automatic mode).

FCA opening travel limit input (contact NC)
FCC closing travel limit input (contact NC)

21-22
BSP Passive safety input (NC)
If this contact is open the power supply to the controls (including the electronic card) will
be interrupted. Insert a normally closed contact which is able to support a load of 30V dc
100mA. This safety device should be installed in addition to the normal active safety
devices (Caution! This input cannot be connected in series with the FTCI and FTCS as
they do not share the same common). It could also be wired in series to an emergency
device in line with the local standards and regulations in force.
TB (contact NC) blocking button in input
25
26
TC (contact NO) closing button in input
TA (contact NO) opening button in input

28
Mass for radio receiver antenna
29
Radio receiver antenna pole (The antenna must be connected using a coaxial cable with
an impedance of 50Ω)
ALL UNUSED NC CONTACTS MUST BE BRIDGED
Optional interface card "MRS" (Code YPR302SR2)
Inserting this card into the relative slot on the motherboard will give you three contacts in output which
give information regarding the status of the following:
- Opening travel limit (NO contact) "POS.FCA"
This contact is closed when the opening travel limit is active
- Closing travel limit (NO contact) "POS.FCC"
This contact is closed when the closing travel limit is active
Note: during time programming this ouput is activated intermittently and differently depending on the
function stage.
- Inverting photocells/stop (exchange contact) "POS.FTC"
Exchange contact between binding posts 34-35 when the photocell is at rest.
MRS optional interface card connections (CS1123 see fig.1)
30-31
Relay contact completely closed indicator light
32-33
Relay contact completely open indicator light
Serial exchange relay contact for FTCI and FTCS photocell status.
