Securing and releasing the crown
The crown is screwed in and secured in the normal
position (position X). In this position the watch case
has double protection against penetrating water. To
release the secure crown, unscrew it by rotating it to
the left, where it automatically assumes position 0,
the neutral position. By depressing the crown in posi-
tion X and rotating it to the right at the same time, it
is screwed down firmly again and secured.
Neutral position
You cannot adjust your watch in the neutral position
(position 0). Unintentional adjustment of the watch
when unscrewing the crown is prevented by this inter-
mediate position.

1 Date quick setting
2 Time setting
Setting the date
If a month has fewer than 31 days, you must set the date
by hand to the first day of the following month. Pull the
crown to position 1. You can now set the date by rotating
the crown to the left (quick setting). You should not per-
form quick setting in the period between 20.00 and 2.00,
since the date is moved forwards automatically by the
movement during this period and the change mechanism
could be damaged.
Setting the time
Pull the crown to position 2. The time indication is stop-
ped with the crown in this position, and with it the small
seconds hand at 6.00 (the chronographis not stopped).
The precise time can now be set. When setting the time,
please be aware that the date change always takes place
at midnight (24.00). If this change has already taken place
at 12.00 noon, you must move the hands forwards by
12 hours. To start the seconds hand, push the crown
back to position 0.
