• Operation
å Switch the unit on using the ON/OFF key. The display shows
"CL F".
ç Select the test required using the MODE key: CLF (free
Chlorine) → CLt (total Chlorine) → PH → tA (total alkalinity) →
CLF ... (Scroll). The display shows the desired method.
é Open the gray lid on the top of the sample chamber.
è Swirl the instrument several times under the water surface,
filling the sample chamber completely. For most accurate
results, take the water sample from 12-18" under the
surface of the water. Take the instrument out of the water
and close the gray lid. Hold the lid firmly down.
ê Press the ZERO/TEST key. The method symbol flashes for
approx. 8 seconds. The display shows "0.0.0".
Open the gray lid and add the approriate tablet:

{ Close the lid and swirl the instrument gently for approx. 30
seconds (Alkalinity 1 min) holding the lid firmly down.
| Afterwards keep the instrument steady and wait for 30
seconds when testing CLF/pH and 2 minutes when
testing CLt/tA.
} Press the ZERO/TEST key. The method symbol flashes for
approx. 6 seconds. The result appears in the display.
Rinse the sample chamber and lid area thoroughly after each
test. It is not possible to repeat the reading because
the best measurement value is correctly displayed only after
the specified waiting period stated above.
New zero calibration / Moving on to Next Test
Press the MODE key until the desired method symbol
appears in the display again. Repeat procedure above.
