• Maintainance
1. K eep the instrument clean.
2. Do not use solvent or abrasive materials to clean the instrument.
3. W hen n ot i n u se, k eep t he i nstrument d ry a nd s tore a t r oom t emperature.
4. R emove the battery if the instrument is not being used for an
extended period.
• Trouble shooting
1. Be sure to only use reagent tablets packed in white foil for
accurate and best results.
2. Touching the tablets can cause contamination.
3. Close the gray lid on top of the sample chamber before
zeroing/reading.
4. Always ensure that the sample and the lid are thoroughly rinsed
when changing from one test to the other.
• Installing/Changing the battery (9 volt)
BAT Install the battery as shown in the illustration making
sure that the end cap is completely closed (markings on
the instrument and end cap are properly lined up). Check
position of the black O-Ring when opening/ closing the battery
chamber lid!
