6. Capacity
Since the DI resin filter is used at different filling points with various degrees
of hardness, the available quantity of completely desalinated water differs.
The water counter and conductivity measurement are used to monitor
water quality. If a conductivity measurement indicates a value
of > 30 μS/cm (20 ppm), the cartridge is depleted.
The bottle must be replaced.
Raw water quality can be determined in various ways.
a) Information from responsible water works (indication of overall hardness).
b) By measuring the mineral content with Unger TDS-Meter (11).
Please enter this value into the service pass (page 17).
Subtract the withdrawn quantity from the pure water quantity and
enter the balance.
6.1 Maintenance and replacement of bottles
1.
Close water tap (6) for inflow.
2.
Depressurise system. To do so, open tap for water drainage (2).
3.
Disassemble cartridge from carriage by releasing clamps and hose connections.
4.
The resin replacement can be organised via your distributor.
5.
The spare filters DIR40 and DIR80 can be purchased via Unger distribution
channel.
This regulation applies in the entire Unger sales region.
Please observe that the water in the hoses will escape during disassembly!
