Remarks:
The tow ball, type 329 062, is fitted to the towing hitch in line (Westfalia spare part no.
329 062 600 001).
A tow ball or an automatic coupling can be fitted to the towing hitch. Both may be combined on the
towing hitch with the quick change coupling system ALKO/MFK, model 160 or 1500 (Westfalia
part number 342 032 600 001) or the Rockinger Varioblock quick change coupling system.
Use only fixture components of strength class 10.9 or 10.
Only centre-axle trailers may be towed in conjunction with an automatic coupling.
Please note that the respective tow ball with bracket/tow hook or automatic coupling, or the quick
change coupling system combined with tow ball and bracket/tow hook or automatic coupling, must
be entered in the vehicle registration papers.
The following coupling-point areas must be complied with, depending on the respective connection
system installed.
