Safety instructions
Basic safety instructions
•
The lifting arm and the gas suspensions of the fitting must not be
opened under any circumstances. Arbitrary modifications of the fitting
exclude the liability of the manufacturer for resulting damages.
•
The fitting with propulsion and the control unit must not be opened as
otherwise the warranty is considered void!
•
Correct use also comprises the compliance with the specifications provided
in the manufacturer's installation and operating instructions.
•
The assembly and installation must only be carried out by trained and
authorised personnel.
•
The fitting versions that have been designed for the 869.00 MHZ
frequency range with the "EU" mark on the type plate of the control unit
are formally approved for operation in the countries of the European
Union. The fitting versions that are designed for the 915.00 frequency
range are approved for operation in North America by means of UL
certification. If the equipment is used in other countries, the
permissibility of the selected frequency range must be checked.
•
Do not hold the cabinet doors when they are opening and closing.
•
Avoid cross-corner constellations of wall units with E-fittings, since flap
collisions may occur.
Electrical safety
•
The power supply must comply with the information on the type plate of
the control unit.
•
In case of damage to the cable or plug of the control unit the fitting must
be put out of operation immediately until the damage has been
remedied by a qualified person / specialist workshop.
•
Never immerse the mains plug and the control unit in water, expose to
humidity, wet clean or touch with wet hands.
•
Never replace or modify the mains plug and the mains lead.
•
Never pull the mains lead, but always pull the mains plug.
