10. Cautions for use
The ProMAX rangefinder employs an eye-safe laser. Nevertheless, do not
switch the unit while aiming at a human eye or while looking into the lens.
Do not aim at the sun or strong light with the product so that the
photosensitive elements are not damaged.
Keep the rangefinder out of reach of children.
Do not disassemble the product.
Do not use any power source other than a 3-V CR2 Lithium battery.
Make sure the battery polarity is correct.
Remove the battery from the product if you are not using it for an extended
period.
11. Maintenance
Lenses
Do not wipe dust or sand from the lens, but rather blow it off or remove it
using a soft lens brush.
Fingerprints may affect the lens surfaces after a time. The easiest way to
clean lens surfaces is to breathe on them and rub them using a clean optic-
cleaning cloth.
Use of a coarse cloth or unnecessary rubbing may scratch the lens surface
and eventually cause permanent damage.
Do not use a velvet cloth or ordinary tissue, as it may scratch the lens
surface.
