It is forbidden to operate the tool while standing on a ladder.
•
Keep the rakes and any other moving part away from your face.
•
Before any maintenance operations are carried-out, switch the tool off. Disconnect the power supply cable
from the battery (14-15).
•
Before any routine maintenance operation, read this use and maintenance manual carefully. For any other
maintenance operation, which is not described in this manual, take the tool to an authorised service point.
•
The tool shall be used for the purposes described in par. "product description" only. Other uses could cause
injuries and/or damages.
•
When the tool is not used, select the switch (7) OFF mode.
Keep the tool in a dry place.
•
2.2
Use
•
Always wear goggles or a visor, safety shoes and antivibration gloves and a noise-abatement headset (fig. F).
•
The working position must be stable and safe.
•
The tool shall be used only for the purposes described in par. "product description". Other uses could cause injuries
and/or damages.
•
When the led light (9) is on, it indicates that the tool is working.
•
Do not open the handgrip (1).
•
Do not leave the tool in the rain. Keep it in a dry place.
•
Do not carry the tool by the power supply cable (14-15).
•
When the tool is not used for harvesting, select the switch (7) OFF mode in order to avoid useless battery consump-
tion.
•
The speed selector led lights (16) indicate that the tool has stopped due to motor overheating or max power level
overcoming. In oder to start the tool again, switch it off and then on by means of the ON/OFF switch (7).
WARNING!
For all indications and warnings about the lithium battery, please check the enclosed instructions.
WARNING!
It is strictly forbidden to start the engine of any vehicle with the power-supply cable of the tool connected to the
battery through the clamps of the cable.
2.3
Maintenance
WARNING!
Before performing any maintenance operations or adjustments of the mechanical parts of the equipment, wear
protective shoes, gloves and goggles.
•
Routine maintenance and repairs can be carried out only by an operator with the necessary physical and intellectual
qualifications.
•
Special maintenance and repairs can be carried out only by a qualified mechanic.
•
Before any maintenance or adjustment operations, disconnect the tool from its power source.
•
Keep bystanders away when servicing or repairing the machine.
•
Only qualified mechanics are authorised to inactivate the safety devices provided on the machine when maintenance
is to be performed. It is their responsibility to safeguard the operators and the machine. The safety devices should be
activated as soon as maintenance work has been completed.
•
All maintenance procedures not dealt with in this manual are to be performed at CAMPAGNOLA Authorised Service
Points.
•
When maintenance or repairs have been completed, the machine can be started again only if duly authorised by the
qualified mechanic. The service mechanic must make sure:
-
work has been completed;
-
the machine runs in a trouble-free manner;
-
the safety devices are activated;
-
no one is working on the machine.
