INSTALLATION, ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS AND OPERATING MODES
1. Fig. A - This exhaust fan is suitable for installation in a false ceiling, inside a duct, opening onto the exterior, up to 3 m long.
The exhaust fan is fitted with fastening supports and is supplied with a full set of installation components.
The set of components supplied as standard includes:
1 pvc flexible duct, 3m long;
2 protection grilles;
4 hose clamps;
10 wall plugs and screwsFor models with automatic locking, fit the locking diaphragm (3) as well.
2. Fig. B - Remove the central cover (1) from the exhaust fan (2) by releasing the screws (3).
Insert the power cable through the hole in the bottom part of the exhaust fan and fasten it by means of the cable clamp (4) supplied as
standard.
3. Connect power cable to the terminal block:

The exhaust fan is activated when the light is turned on.
When the light is turned off, the exhaust fan continues to operate, for the programmed time, from 45 sec. to ca 30 min and thise
operation is ensured also with no bulb or with a burnt out bulb.
Operating time is factory set for about 45 seconds.
To extend the operation time, proceed as follows:
Disconnect the power supply circuit.
Turn the trimmer (T) gently using a screwdriver in the direction shown by the arrow.
Verify if the operational time has been correctly set, if not repeat the procedure carefully.
4. Replace the central cover (1) to the exhaust fan (2) and fasten it with the screws (3).
5. Fig. E - Place the exhaust fan (2) in the chosen position, fasten it to the surface by locking the supports (5) at points (a) by means of the
wall plugs and screws supplied as standard.
Separate the grille frames (6) from the grilles (7) pressing down the hooks (b) and fix the frames in the right positions, then fasten them
to the surface by means of the screws and wall plugs supplied as standard.
Snap the grilles (7) in the frames (6).
Fit the pvc flexible hose between the exhaust fan and the fixed grilles and fasten it with the hose clamps supplied as standard.

DISPOSAL

Important information concerning the environment friendly disposal of the appliance
This product conforms to EU Directive 2002/96/EC. The symbol of the barred waste bin indicates that, at the end of its useful
life, the product has to be collected separately from the domestic waste.
The user will have to take the product to a collection centre for waste electrical and electronic equipment, or return it to a
retailer on purchase of a replacement. Failure to do so may incur the penalties established by laws governing waste disposal.
Proper differential collection and the subsequent recycling, processing and environmentally compatible disposal of waste
equipments avoids unnecessary damage to the environment and possible related health risk and promotes also recycling of
the materials used in the appliance.
