Gas heater Use instructions
IMPORTANT TEST FOR LEAKAGE:
This must be carried out in a wellventilated area, free from any open flames or other
sources of ignition. With the regulator connected to the cylinder, turn on the gas cylinder
valve. Brush all hose connections to the gas valve, regulator connection to the cylinder
and gas cylinder valve with a 50:50 solution of detergent and water. A stream of bubbles
foaming is an indication of a leakage; if a leakage should be found, turn off the regulator,
disconnect the regulator from the gas cylinder and remove the gas cylinder to a cool,
outdoor wellventilated area. Contact your Dealer or gas supplier for assistance.
DO NOT USE THE HEATER IF A LEAKAGE IS FOUND.
DO NOT USR A NAKED FLAME FOR LEAKAGE TESTING.
After leakagetesting is satisfactorily carried out, fit the rear panel onto the heater, locating
the holes over the top two screws refer to in STEP I above. It may be necessary to twist
the cylinder to allow the regulator and hose to fit inside the back panel without kinking the
hose.
Note: The heater with safety devices that will shut down the heater in unsafe condi-
tions. It will shut down the heater if the ventilation in the room is not sufficient. This
device will operate if the heater is used in a very small room. If the heater should
turn off, ventilate the room well, and wait 5-10 minutes before attempting to re-light
the heater.

The heater can be regulated to three different heat input stages: LOW, MEDIUM and
HIGH.
The ignition is operated by piezo ingition
●Switch on the gas regulator of the cylinder.
●Press down and turn the control knob to LOW position and hold for 10 seconds.
●While still pressing down the control knob, press once or twice on the ignition button until
the pilot flame ignited at the bottom of the burner. Continue to hold the control knob down
for another 1015seconds more, if on releasing the button, the pilot flame goes out, repeat
the operation.
MAINTENANCE:
● maintenance and cleaning must be carried out with the gas supply turned off and the
heater cold. do not attempt to clean the heater while it is in use.
● your heater should be checked annually by a qualified person for safe operation and to
detect any faults.
● if any faults are detected in use, stop using the heater and contact your dealer for advi
ce.
