3. Names of parts and their functions

3-1. Front panel

① ETHERNET
Used to connect the LAN cable (Category 5 or higher). PoE-compatible.
② LED indicators
Green : Normally flashing
Orange : Flashing while video signals are inputted normally
③ INIT switch
* Hold down the switch, turn on the power and keep it down for more 10 seconds. This will
return the product's settings to its factory ones. It is helpful if the firmware fails to be up-
loaded, for example. In such case, the IP address and the firmware itself resume their
factory settings. The IP address and other settings must be made again.

3-2. Rear panel

① VIDEO IN
Used to receive video signals from cameras. Equipped with automatic terminating function.
② VIDEO OUT
Used to send out VIDEO IN signals. When a coaxial cable is connected, the termination is
automatically cleared.
③ Terminal block 1
IN : Normally open no-voltage contact alarm input. External sensor or the like con-
nected here.
OUT : Open-collector output. Alarm output given if the motion detector gets activated or if
the IN terminal gets short-circuited.
RS-485 : Ikegami's I-LAN-compatible device communicable with a PC.
④ Terminal block 2 (Power)
Used to commonly receive DC12V and AC24V power.
* This installation should be made by a qualified service person and should conform to all local codes.
Priority is given to the PoE (Power over Ethernet) power supply.
⑤ RS-232C
RS-232C communication enabled (DCE: Data Communication Equipment)
⑥ AUDIO
IN: Used to receive audio signals.
OUT: Used to send out audio signals.
⑦ Power
Usually not used.
Priority is given to the PoE (Power over Ethernet) power supply.
