The Protac MyBaSe® was developed to help sufferers of function impairment.
Children, young and old people can benefit from the mattress:
• Brain damage, including spasticity, Huntington's Chorea, Parkinson's Disease and other
ailments
• ADHD and autism
• Psychiatric diseases, such as dementia, schizophrenia, depression, anxiety, anorexia etc.
• Development problems, sensory problems, deaf/blind, etc.
• Stress
The Protac MyBaSe® is used for lying on as an active surface for sufferers of brain damage with
spasticity. The pressure of the balls helps suppress spasticity, and calm the body of patients with
brain damage. Furthermore, the patient benefits from enhanced body awareness.
The Protac MyBaSe® is used for ADHD and autism sufferers to lie, roll and jump on.
The active side of the mattress stimulates the sense of balance, whilst the pressure of the balls
creates calm and better body awareness.
Psychiatric patients often suffer from muscular and psychological unrest. Protac MyBaSe® is
used to create calm and comfort for the user when lying on the mattress.
It is used for sufferers of a range of development problems, sensory problems, deaf/blindness
and to create enhanced sensory stimuli in the body.
The Protac MyBaSe® can be used in institutions, sheltered housing, day centres, hospitals,
patient lounges and private homes. The mattress can be used in the gymnastics hall of schools,
for instance. It can be used in the homes of handicapped children in the lounge.

Using the product

Protac MyBaSe® has 2 sides –
active and passive. The active
side is used when there is a
need for vestibular stimula-
tion (balance), and the pas-
sive side for when stability is
needed.
For extra stimulation, a helper
can increase movement when
the active side of the mattress
is used.
