– Fix the current lead to the terminal box cable of the instrument panel using a plastic tie H.

– Attach the retaining clip B1 to the upper part of the dashboard console, pull the plastic tie
from the retaining clip B2 and fix it to the loops perpendicular to the original recess. Attach the
retaining clip B2 to the lower part of the console. Fix the current lead to the retaining clips B1
and B2.
– Then guide the current lead down to the fuse box.

– Thread the damper D onto the bundle of electrical connection cables for the car radio C and
connect the bundle to the vehicle' s electricity wiring bundle.
– Attach the nut plates J1 to the applicable places in the instrument bracket.

– Attach the interconnecting wire E to the fuse box and connect the black/white current lead
from the bundle of electrical connection cables for the car radio as shown in the figure.
Connect the car radio and recheck the wiring. In particular PIN 4 and 7.
– Prior to connecting the car radio check and adjust if required the wiring of the 8 pole power
terminal box – in particular PIN 7 and PIN 4.
– The 8 pole power terminal box is wired during manufacturing as follows:
PIN 7 - +12V (so-called 30),
PIN 4 - +12V switched (so-called 15 or S-contact)
Warning the wiring of these PINs can differ in various car radios!

– Place the car radio back into the rack A.
– Insert the rack with the car radio into the instrument bracket and tighten the screws J.
Straighten the current lead and the bundle of electrical wiring so as not to damage them whilst
inserting the rack with the car radio.
– Clip on the dashboard' s central cover.
Reassemble all of the disassembled parts, connect the battery and make any necessary re-
adjustments to the electrical components relating to the connection and disconnection of the
battery (Ref. workshop manual).
– Continue according to the service manual of the relevant car radio.
– Tighten all bundles so as not to cause damage or create noise.
