Before beginning to install:
− Switch the electricity supply to the storage cylinder's
valve group and to any associated boiler OFF at the main
switch and at the control panel
− Close the shut-off cocks for the domestic hot water circuit
− Empty the boiler's domestic circuit.

Installation is possible on two different types of storage cyl-
inder: with nuts (TYPE 1) or with screws (TYPE 2).
TYPE 1 STORAGE CYLINDER

INSTALLATION ON TYPE 1 STORAGE CYLINDER
− Remove the cover (A) of the flange with the insulation (B)
− An M8 screw (C) is fitted onto the insulation (B) for remov-
ing the flange.

Keep the M8 screw (C) for use for future inspections.
− Undo the nuts (D).
− Remove the flange (E) from the storage cylinder, tighten-
ing the M8 screw (C) into the threaded hole (F).
− Check the state of wear of the gasket (G) and, if necessary,
replace it with the gasket included with the accessory.

Keep the nuts (D), as they will be used later to fasten the
element.
