comply with the precautions for use.
This electrode is for use only with the C.A 10101 pH meter.
The CE marking indicates conformity with European directives, in particular LVD and EMC.
The rubbish bin with a line through it indicates that, in the European Union, the product must undergo selective disposal
in compliance with Directive WEEE 2012/19/UE. This equipment must not be treated as household waste.
The pH electrode is delivered in a cardboard box with:
a shim,
a storage bottle.

This electrode is used to measure the pH of solutions.
Remove the storage bottle.
If you spot an air bubble on the glass membrane or the diaphragm, shake the electrode to eliminate it.
Connect the electrode to the measuring instrument.
Calibrate the electrode with buffer solutions, rinsing with de-ionized water between measurements.
Plunge the end of the electrode in the solution to be measured; make sure that the membrane and the diaphragm are submerged.
Wait for the measurement to stabilize.
Rinse the electrode with de-ionized water between measurements.
When the measurements are over, put the electrode back in the storage bottle.
To avoid damaging the electrode, do not make measurements in the any of the following solutions:
hydrofluoric acid solution,
acid and alkaline solutions at high concentrations (> 2 mol/L)
clogging solution (resin, paint, etc.)
