Temperature measurement range: 0 to 60°C.
Temperature measurement: PT1000 probe.
The presence of crystallized white deposits on the electrode is a normal consequence of the evaporation of the storage solution.
To eliminate a deposit, simply rinse the electrode with de-ionized water, then wipe dry with a clean, lint-free cloth without touching
the glass membrane.
Do not use aggressive and/or abrasive products (hydrofluoric acid, acetone, etc.).
The cleaning operation must not scratch the glass membrane.
Contamination of the diaphragm is the commonest cause of measurement problems.
Remove any impurities deposited on the surface of the glass of the electrode and on the outside of the diaphragm using de-ion-
ized water, or a soft cloth if the deposit is large.
If rinsing is not enough, it is possible to use various chemical cleaning solutions, depending on the nature of the contamination:
Type of clogging
Silver sulphide
Silver chloride
Proteins
Other clogging
Keep your electrode in its bottle in an electrolytic 3 or 4 mol/L KCl solution.
Do not keep an electrode dry or in distilled or de-ionized water. The membrane may be damaged and the life of the electrode
shortened.
Regularly check the condition of your electrode and the cleanliness of the diaphragm and of the glass membrane.
Electrodes are wear parts. The life of your electrode depends on how you use and maintain it.
Except as otherwise stated, our warranty is valid for 12 months starting from the date on which the equipment was sold. Extract
from our General Conditions of Sale, provided on request.
The warranty does not apply in the following cases:
traces of corrosion on the inside of the connector;
traces of clogging agents (glue, paint, resin, etc.) on the body, the glass ball or the ceramic junction;
breakage of the glass;
damage to the body of the electrode (deformation, discoloration).
