3. Fig. C - place the exhaust fan (2) inside the duct and tighten the screws (5) which will activate the hooking levers (6) thus fixing the exhaust fan
to the duct walls. If the duct walls are irregularly shaped or the size is not suitable for this fixing method, drill fixing holes in the walls matching
the fixing holes in the exhaust fan (b), then fasten the exhaust fan using the screws and the wall plugs supplied as standard.
4. Fig. D – Fasten the power cable to the exhaust fan (2) by means of the cable clamp (7) supplied as standard.
In case of chased cables pass the power cables through appropriate openings (c).
5. Connect power cable to the terminal block:

Electrical connection for timed exhaust fan activation through a manual switch (I) as shown in the diagram.
The exhaust fan is activated when the light is turned on.
When the light is turned off, the exhaust fan continues to operate, for the programmed time, from 45 sec. to ca 30 min and this operation is
ensured also with no bulb or with a burnt out bulb.
Operating time is factory set for about 45 seconds.
To extend the operation time, proceed as follows:
- Disconnect the power supply circuit.
- Turn the trimmer (T) gently using a screwdriver in the direction shown by the arrow.
- Verify if the operational time has been correctly set, if not repeat the procedure carefully.
Fig. I, Fig. L - "hyGrOsTaT+TIMEr" CONNECTION - Models: EV 10/4"hT, EV 12/5"hT, EV 15/6"hT.
Electrical connection for automatic exhaust fan activation according to the humidity quantity in the room.
The switch (I) shown in the diagram allows the manual activation of the exhaust fan with the TIMEr function (see description under "TIMEr"
CONNECTION).
These exhaust fans have been designed for the automatic control of relative humidity in the premises.
The exhaust fan is activated when the relative humidity (rh), present in the premises exceeds the pre-set activation threshold, and it keeps
working until the rh drops below a pre-set threshold. When the pre-set threshold has been reached, the TIMEr function enables the exhaust
fan to keep working for a programmed length of time in order to reduce further the humidity present in the premises.
The desired time setting is carried out using the trimmer (T).
The trimmer (T) is originally set in the factory for a time period of ca 45 sec., but it can be adjusted up to a max. time of ca 30 min.
The trimmer (h) is originally set in the factory for an activation point of ca. 60% relative humidity (rh), but this percentage can be changed, from
a minimum of 40% rh (-) to a max. 80% rh (+).
To change the settings, proceed as follows:
- Disconnect the power supply circuit.
- Turn the trimmer (T) and/or the trimmer (h) gently by means of a screwdriver in the direction shown by the arrow.
- Verify if the operational time or rh value have been correctly set, if not repeat the procedure carefully.

Electrical connection for the automatic activation of the exhauster.
WarNING: the first time the exhaust fan is powered, it works for an operating cycle whose time duration corresponding to the time
set on the timer.
The exhaust fan is designed to remain on stand-by and it starts automatically each time it detects the presence of a person into its range.
When it stops detecting people in its range, the exhaust fan continues to operate for a length of time programmable from 45 sec. to ca 30 min.
"pIr" models are factory set for a time period of ca 45 sec.
To extend the operating time, proceed as follows:
- Disconnect the power supply circuit.
- Turn the trimmer (T) gently by means of a screwdriver in the direction shown by the arrow.
- Verify if the operational time has been correctly set, if not repeat the procedure carefully
6. Fit the central cover (4) to the exhauster (2).
For models with automatic locking, fit the locking diaphragm (3) as well.
7. snap front grille (1) and, if an external power cable is used, remove from it a pre-cut zone for the passage of the cable.
aTTENTION:
In the matic models the shutters progressively open and close after approximately 30 seconds.
