5.2.5. INFRARED NIGHT VISION (AUTOMATIC)
The infrared night vision function enables the camera to capture images of your baby or the area being monitored
in conditions of darkness or poor light
This mode only produces black and white images on the screen and you will only be able to see objects located
less than 2 meters away.
The camera permanently monitors the level of light and automatically changes to infrared mode when there is
insufficient light for normal vision.
5.2.6. OUT OF REACH WARNING
If the monitor is located further away from the camera than admissible (see the technical characteristics), the
screen will display the signal strength icon (a) in red and the icon for the camera to which the connection has
been lost with a question mark. In addition a beep sound will be heard every 12 seconds as an advice that both
units are not communicating.
Move the monitor closer to the camera in order to restore the proper image.
5.2.7. MAIN MENU
Press the Menu/Back button (5) in order to set the main functions and characteristics of your baby monitor.
5.2.7.1. LULLABIES
The baby unit can play gentle lullabies to help your baby get to sleep. In order to activate this function:
1. Press the Menu / Back button (5) to access the menu.
2. Press the LEFT (9) or RIGHT (8) button until the lullaby menu (A) is highlighted.
3. Press the UP (7) or DOWN (10) button to select one of the five lullabies available, mute or loop playback (the
default setting is OFF).
4. When the melody has been selected, press the confirmation key (11) and the volume control will appear. Press
the UP (7) or DOWN (10) keys to select the volume level from 1 to 3.
5. The lullaby icon (d) will appear at the top of the LCD screen.
Remember that the lullaby settings can only be configured on the camera being used at the time.
Note 1: The loop playback function plays all the lullabies in loop mode.

5.2.7.2. ALARM MENU

5.2.7.2.1. SETTING THE FEEDING ALARM
Take the following steps to set the feeding alarm:
1. Press the Menu / Back button (5) to access the menu.
2. Press the LEFT (9) or RIGHT (8) button until the alarm menu icon (B) is highlighted.
3. Press the UP (7) or DOWN (10) keys, select the feeding alarm icon and press the confirmation button (11).
4. Press the UP (7) or DOWN (10) button to set the alarm timer (press the UP (7) key to increase the time and
the DOWN (10) key to reduce it).
5. Confirm, the timer by selecting ON with the LEFT (9) or RIGHT (8) key and press the confirmation button (11).
6. Press the Menu/Back key (5) to return to the main screen.
Note 1: A clock icon (h) will appear on the LCD screen when the alarm is activated.
Note 2: If you wish to remove the alarm follow the aforementioned steps 1, 2 and 3, set the time to 00:00 and
select the OFF option. The clock icon (h) will disappear from the screen.
Note 3: Press any key to cancel the alarm when it is ringing. If there is no response, the device will notify you
for 7 minutes and then stop ringing.
5.2.7.2.2. SETTING THE TEMPERATURE RANGE
This option enables you to configure the temperature display in ºC or ºF and to define the temperature range
regarded as suitable for the baby´s room.
Take the following steps to set the temperature range:
1. Press the Menu / Back button (5) to access the menu.
2. Press the LEFT (9) or RIGHT (8) button until the alert menu icon (B) is highlighted.
3. Press the UP (7) or DOWN (10) key, select the thermometer icon and press the confirmation button (11).
4. Press the LEFT (9) or RIGHT (8) key to browse the different options on the menu: minimum temperature
threshold, maximum temperature threshold and unit of measurement (degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit).
5. Use the UP (7) and DOWN (10) keys to increase or reduce the threshold temperature and to select the desired
unit of measurement.
6. Confirm your choice using the confirmation button (11).
7. Press the Menu / Back key (5) to return to the main screen.
Note 1: The temperature icon at the top of the screen (i) will turn red when the temperature is outside the set
temperature range.
5.2.7.3. ENERGY-SAVING (STANDBY) MODE
The energy-saving mode will enable you to choose the maximum time for which the image on the monitor
remains active (1, 3 or 5 minutes); after which the image will disappear with the aim of saving energy, although
you will still hear the sounds. Simply press any button to reactivate the image.
