NOTE:
The battery has to be at least half charged before the cleaning function is activated.
Use the cleaning function every time you vacuum up hairs or fibres. If too many hairs or fibres get
wrapped around the brush the appliance's cleaning function can be impaired.
If the cleaning function does not remove all dirt, the brush can be removed from the housing for
additional cleaning (also see: "Cleaning and user maintenance").
To prevent overcharging, the charging station switches off when the battery is fully charged, and
the charge indicator light goes off. In this case the charging station has to be activated before the
cleaning function can be used. To do that either press the electric brush onto the charging station
once or remove the vacuum cleaner from the charging station and replace it again.

Never hold the main unit and battery under water or immerse the appliance in water or other
liquids.

Press the electric brush onto the centre of the charging
station with your foot to activate the cleaning function.
Leave it in place for several seconds.
After approximately 10 seconds the hair cutting function
switches off automatically.
Repeat if necessary.
Remove the handheld unit from the main unit. Also
remove any accessories from the handheld unit.
Hold the appliance with dust container over a waste bin.
Press both release buttons next to the handheld unit's
suction opening. The flap opens and the dust falls into
the bin.
Close the dust container flap again after emptying the
container.
