2. INSTALLATION
2.1 Selecting the location
The location must be sturdy, flat and level. Avoid locations with excessive air current, vibrations, heat sources or rapid
temperature changes. Allow sufficient space around the instrument.
Select a location that is safe and with adequate ventilation. Fire, corrosive or toxic fumes and other hazards associated with
the test samples will require specially prepared locations.
2.2 Installing Components
2.3 Connecting Power
Connect the AC mains power cord to the instrument's power input connector, and then connect the AC plug to a suitable
electrical outlet.
See also section 1, Safety Precautions
After connecting the Analyzer to the AC supply (standby mode), allow the Analyzer to warm up for at least 30 minutes for best
results.
Power: On (short press) / Off / Standby Mode (long press)
When powered on from standby mode, the Analyzer is ready for immediate use.
2.4 Levelling the Instrument
To level the instrument, adjust the feet so the bubble is centered in the circle of the level indicator. Be sure the equipment is
level each time its location is changed.
2.5 Initial Calibration
For best results, the instrument's calibration should be checked prior to first use. If adjustment is needed, refer to the
Calibration section of the instruction manual.
