Inserting rechargeable batteries

The li-ion battery supplied is required for operating the
camera.
 Switch the camera off.
 Move the battery compartment catch in the direc-
tion shown by the arrow. The battery compartment
opens.
 Insert the battery into the battery compartment as
shown.
 Close the battery compartment and reset the catch.
