First steps

Switching on the camera

 Press the POWER button to switch the camera on.
The lens comes out, the green light appears on the ope-
rating display and the display is switched on. The came-
ra is in recording mode.
NOTE!
If the camera does not switch on, check
whether the battery has been inserted prop-
erly and whether it is charged.

Switching off the camera

 Press the POWER button to switch the camera off.

Setting the language, date and time

When you switch on the camera for the fi rst time, you
will be asked to set the language and time.
Sett ing the language
 Select the desired language using the buttons  or
.
 Confi rm your choice by pressing OK.
After setting the language, the camera automatically
switches to the menu for setting the date and time.
