NOTE:
The digital zoom is not available for recording
video clips.
While the zoom button is held down, no
sound is recorded.
During video recording, the microphone is
simultaneously enabled and the sound is also
recorded.
The video recordings are saved with the sound
as an AVI fi le.

Recording audio clips

The microphone is on the front right of the camera be-
neath the lens. Take care not to touch the microphone
during the recording.
 Under the
menu, select the speech recording
 Press the shutter release to start recording. The re-
cording bar appears in the display.
 Press the shutter release again to stop recording.
NOTE!
The speech recordings are saved as WAV fi les.
