Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance.
This appliance may be used by children aged 8 and over and
people lacking experience and knowledge or whose
physical, sensory or mental capacities are reduced, if they
have been trained and instructed in the safe use of the
appliance and are aware of the risks involved. Children must
not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance by
the user must not be carried out by children unless they are
aged 8 and over and are supervised.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged
under 8 years.
The temperature of the accessible surfaces
may be high when the appliance is in
operation.
Check that the electricity supply is compatible with the
power and voltage indicated beneath the appliance.
This appliance is not intended for operation by means of an
external timer or a separate remote control system.
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its after-sales department or persons with
similar qualifications in order to avoid danger.
This appliance must not be immersed in water. Never place
the appliance or the lead in water.
WHAT TO DO
If an accident occurs, run cold water immediately over the burn and call a doctor if necessary.
Remove all packaging, stickers or accessories from both the inside and outside of the appliance.
Unwind the lead completely before plugging in the appliance.
Use on a flat, stable, horizontal and heat-resistant surface.
On first use, wash the plates, pour a little vegetable cooking oil onto each plate and rub it with a soft cloth.
If the appliance is used in the centre of the table, keep it out of reach of children.
If an extension lead is used, it should be of at least an equivalent diameter and have an earthed plug fitted.
Only connect the appliance to an earthed socket.
Take care with the location of the cord with or without an extension lead, take every precaution necessary
so as not to disturb movement of others around the table so that no one trips over the power cord.
