SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES
DO NOT let comfort or familiarity with product
(gained from repeated use) replace strict adherence
to stone polisher safety rules. If you use this tool
unsafely or incorrectly, you can suffer serious
personal injury.
1.
Accessories must be rated for at least the
speed recommended on the tool warning label.
Wheels and other accessories running over rated
speed can fly apart and cause injury. Maximum
operating speed of accessories should be higher
than the highest no load speed marked on the
tool's nameplate.
2.
Hold tool by insulated gripping surfaces when
performing an operation where the cutting tool
may contact hidden wiring or its own cord.
Contact with a "live" wire will make exposed metal
parts of the tool "live" and shock the operator.
3.
Always
use safety glasses or goggles.
Ordinary eye or sun glasses are NOT safety
glasses.
4.
Check the backing pad carefully for cracks,
damage
or
Replace cracked, damaged or deformed pad
immediately.
5.
NEVER use tool with wood cutting blades or
other sawblades. Such blades when used on a
stone polisher frequently kick and cause loss
of control leading to personal injury.

Hold the tool firmly.
7.
Keep hands away from rotating parts.
8.
Make sure the abrasive disc is not contacting
the workpiece before the switch is turned on.
9.
Do not leave the tool running. Operate the tool
only when hand-held.
10. Do not touch the workpiece immediately after
operation; it may be extremely hot and could
burn your skin.

rotate after the tool is switched off.
13. For additional protection against electric
shock, be sure to WEAR RUBBER GLOVES
AND RUBBER BOOTS during operation.
14. When using the water feed, be careful not to

result.
15. Some material contains chemicals which may
be toxic. Take caution to prevent dust
inhalation and skin contact. Follow material
supplier safety data.

16. If the plug or receptacle does get wet, DO NOT
unplug the cord. Disconnect the fuse or circuit
breaker that supplies power to the tool. Then
unplug and examine for presence of water in
the receptacle.
17. WARNING: To reduce the risk of electrocution
when using an extension cord, keep ALL
connections dry and off the ground.
