Remove any deposits from softcover 1.

Open the tailgate.

Press end strip 6 down slightly and pull

on cable 7.
End strip 6 is released.

Roll up softcover 1 and secure

softcover 1 using retaining straps 2.
Remove both crossmembers 3 and insert
them behind softcover 1.

On vehicles with styling bar, softcover 1

can also be secured in front of the styling
bar using two loops 8.
The crossmembers can also remain in

their initial position.
Closing the softcover

Insert crossmembers 3 at marked

positions 9 into profile strips 4. The
curvature of crossmembers 3 must face
upwards.
Open retaining straps 2 and unroll

softcover 1 as far as the tailgate.
