Planing

 Adjust the cutting depth with the set screw (A)
 Adjust the blade cover (C) to let a space of 5mm to the
workpiece
 To start the machine push start button (B)
 Press the workpiece with one hand against the planer table
 Slide the workpiece with the other hand evenly over the
blade shaft
 Push stop button (D) to switch off the machine after work
 Before further activities wait until blade shaft is at a
standstill!

14.5.1 Planing of narrow workpieces

 For planing of narrow workpieces us the angle stop!
 Place the angle stop to the support an fix with fixing
screw (A)
 Loosen the lock lever (B) and set angle stop to 90°.
 Fix with lock lever (B) in correct position
 Set the blade cover (C) to a position that the blade shaft
will be covered
 Adjust the blade cover (C) to let a space of 5mm to the
workpiece
 Lay the workpiece with the narrow side to the planer table
and press it with one hand to the angle stop
 Slide the workpiece with the other hand evenly over the
blade shaft.
