To prevent odors:
In case of prolonged absence (eg. travel)
intending to turn the refrigerator off, remove
all foods and clean it, leaving the door half
opened to prevent mold and unpleasant
odors (see item cleaning and maintenance).
Do not store food with date-expired in the
refrigerator.
Cooked foods (eg. rice, beans, etc.), high in
fat (eg. dairy, salami, ham, etc.) and acids
(eg. vinegar, wine, onion, garlic, etc.) exhale
odors that can contaminate other foods and
generate unpleasant odors over time of use
of your refrigerator.
To preserve the refrigerator:
Avoid the contact of any type of oil or fat with
the plastic parts of the appliance to avoid
the appearance of spots and damage to the
appliance.
Do not lubricate the door hinge in any way to
not cause damage to the plastic parts.
Do not put glass bottles, plastic or unopened
cans in the freezer because liquids increase
in volume when frozen, so these containers
can break.
In the event of a blackout, do not open the
appliance doors. This will ensure that the
internal temperature is keept for a longer time.
