OPERATION
See Tables 1 and 2. The Solid Color QuadraFlare models, which have an internal
flasher, and Split Color Combination models are capable of providing one of either 17
or 26 separate flash patterns respectively. The unit is provided with a pre-selected flash
pattern (default flash pattern 1) that has been set at the factory. The QuadraFlare
model has a pattern memory, which means that the pattern in use when the unit is
turned off will be the pattern in use once the unit is turned on again.
To program flash patterns, proceed as follows:
1.
Remove and retain the four #6 x1-1/2" S.S. mounting screws.
2.
Remove the lens.
3.
Energize the power source (switch) to activate the QuadraFlare unit.
4.
While using a non-conductive device, press the pattern select switch, located
on the upper left end of the control PC board near the LED board, until the desired
pattern is running. Allow the desired pattern to run for 15 seconds and it is now pro-
grammed.
5.
At any point holding down the pattern select switch for 3 to 9 seconds returns
you back to default flash pattern 1. Holding down the pattern select switch for 10 sec-
onds or more brings you to default flash pattern 2.
The pattern select switch is only located on the upper left end of the control
PC board near the LED board. The use of a flashlight may be required to aid
in the location of the pattern select switch.
