Small portions of food that require only a short
cooking time must not be left too long: they will be
overcooked or even burnt.
Remember to stir the food during cooking and
always at the end of cooking.
Fire hazard/risk of burns
Do not cook any food in a napkin or paper towel,
even if it is recommended by a recipe.
Do not use newspaper or paper towels for
cooking.
When cooking food in plastic or paper containers,
keep an eye on the oven and be aware of the risk
of such materials catching fire.
The microwave oven is designed to heat up food
and drinks. Using the appliance to dry food or
laundry or to warm up heating pads, slippers,
sponges, wet laundry or other similar items could
lead to risk of injury or fire.
WARNING: If any smoke is emitted, turn off or
unplug the microwave and leave the door shut to
smother any flames.
Never use the microwave oven with nothing
inside. This could carry a risk of damaging the
appliance, starting a fire, or starting sparks inside
it.
