Breathable flow with the Sidestream ne-
bulizer cup is increased by 140% compa-
red to a conventional nebulizer cup.
PREPARING AND
USING THE DEVICE
• Remove the device and accessories
from the pack and take the Sidestream
chamber (12)
• Unscrew the top of the Sidestream
chamber in an anticlockwise direction

• Add the medicine and/or saline solution
to the chamber tank. Use doses recom-
mended by a medical practitioner or
pharmacist
• Close the chamber, tightening the top in
a clockwise direction
• Connect the tube to the chamber (6) and
compressed air outlet nozzle
• Connect the chamber to the accessory
chosen for treatment: adult mask, pae-
diatric mask, nose fork, mouthpiece.
If you are not sure which accessory to
use, consult a medical practitioner
• Connect the device to the mains
• Turn on the device by switching the lu-
minous ON switch to position I and start
treatment
• Start inhalation. During treatment, the
chamber can be placed on its base.
• Carry out treatment preferably when
seated and in a comfortable position
• When the aerosol flow becomes inter-
mittent, stop the treatment for a few
seconds and let the droplets of medici-
ne deposit on the walls of the chamber.
Start treatment again and end the ses-
sion when all nebulised medicine has
been expelled out of the chamber
• After treatment, turn off the device, re-
move the plug from the socket, remove
the used accessory and clean the device
and accessories as indicated in the sec-
tion Cleaning and Maintenance

Before cleaning or maintenance, always
turn off the device and remove the plug
from the socket.
Thoroughly clean the device at regular in-
tervals to ensure it stays in good working
order.

Caution! Do not wet or put the device into
water or other liquids. Use only a soft, dry
cloth to clean the device.
Cleaning and

the nebulizer cup
and accessories
Remove and separate all nebulizer cup
components and accessories, immerse in
boiling water for at least 5 minutes. Rin-
se the accessories under running water.
After cooling, disinfect parts that come
into contact with the user with denatured
alcohol.
Carefully dry all components and the de-
vice before reassembling.
Store in a cool, dry place, away from light
and heat.
Never use benzene, thinners or other in-
flammable chemical substances for clea-
ning.
For greater hygienic safety, we recom-
mend you to avoid using the same ac-
cessories for more than one person and
purchase a kit for each user (Aerosol kit
cod. 00 038405 000 000).
CHECKING AND
REPLACING FILTERS
We recommend checking filters at regular
intervals. The filter protects the compres-
