The position of the switches of S1 depends on the ratio between the charging current recommended for the installation's battery
and the nominal rectifier current (programming) :

Installation / mounting options : (see ANNEX : OPTION))
2 - Start-up :
With UPSTREAM circuit-breaker in the open position and the battery circuit (the F2 fuse on the TITAN board is
removed or one of the battery cables is disconnected), then make sure that :
- the client electrical installation is indeed suitable for the TITAN model installed,
- the wiring and cabling is correct :
Ph, N, AC MAINS ground, + UTIL, + Aux, Tel ground (48V models), alarm relays and + BATT,
- switch unit S1 is correctly positioned (see above).
Close the breaker switch upstream of the TITAN CHARGER or power supply.
Set the functionnal ON/STAND BY switch in the ON position.
If the three green indicators illuminate
A1 : illumination of the green indicator indicates presence of the MAINS voltage.
A2 : illumination of the green indicator indicates correct operation of the RECTIFIER.
A3 : illumination of green indicator indicates present of OUTPUT voltage.
U R/R : illumination of green indicator indicates that the measurement displayed is the rectifier voltage.
.
The green indicator is switch off.
 illumination of the indicator of the TITAN board indicates operation of the RECTIFIER.
Close the battery circuit (cable or fuse F2) and refit the cover (screws).
The TITAN and TITAN-S cabinets are delivered tested and ready for use with standard recombinating or sealed lead
batteries.
N.B. : For the models 32A and 40A, the battery fuse from mothers boards is equal to I
current, insert as nearly as possible to the batteries a fuse carrier and a type A M 14 x 51 - I
and replace the F2 battery fuse from the mother board with a neutral device.
Advice to verify the operation of your installation (if site allows) :
a : Check the charge of the battery after storage (Set the functionnal ON/STAND BY switch in the ON position).
Select indicator U
- the value measured and displayed is the true voltage of the battery
 the battery voltage will quickly reach the rectifier's nominal voltage.
Select indicator I
- the value measured and displayed is the charging current of the battery
 the charging current decreases as a function of the state of charge of the battery.
I charge / I N (rounded value  0.1 - 0.3 - 0.5 - 0.7 - 1).

Example of a configuration :
For an 85Ah battery associated with a TITAN of 16A nominal current
the recharging current (I charge ) recommended is 8.5A (85/10).
The ratio 8.5/16 is equal to 0.53, i.e. the rounded value 0.5xI N .
Set the switches of S1 to the corresponding position,
(Refer to the table opposite).
