3) USE OF THE MACHINE

a)

Before Using for the First Time

Before using the machine for the first time wash the plancha in warm water with washing-up
liquid and a soft sponge. Do not use abrasive detergents or metal scourers. After cleaning, dry
the plate and the units. (For further information refer to the "Looking After and Cleaning Your
Machine" section).

b) Use of the machine

Only use wooden or plastic heat-resistant utensils.
Do not cut food on the plate and do not use pointed objects to handle the food.
 Connect the thermostat unit to the electric unit.
 Place the thermostat on Position "0".
 Unplug the machine from the wall socket.
 Select the desired cooking marker (by aligning it with the operating light).

When the light goes out the set temperature has been reached.
 After use place the thermostat on "0", unplug the machine and wait until it is cold before
handling it.
N.B. To make it easier for the cooking juices to run into the fat collection tray, use the tilt stand
located under the electric unit.
The 5 thermostat positions correspond to the following temperatures:
Heat settings can cause variations of ±20°C
