6.
OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
6.1 Protect the pressure control regulator from damage (check visually at regular
intervals).
6.2 The preset adjustment of the safety valve (5) must not be changed.
6.3 Make sure gaskets, sealing surfaces, gauges are in good condition and free from

damage and contamination.
6.4 If any malfunction such as increasing outlet pressure at consumption = 0, leaking gauge,
venting safety valves are detected, remove the pressure control regulator from service
close the cylinder valve (1) immediately.
Malfunction may have various causes. Regulators are precision and sensitive pieces
of equipment. Any repairs must be done in accordance with section 7.
7.
REPAIRS
7.1 Repairs of pressure control regulators must only be made by competent and trained
personnel in authorised workshops. The use of original spare parts is compulsory.
7.2 Arbitrary repairs or modifi cations by the user or a third party without authorisation by the
manufacturer will entail loss of liability.

IMPORTANT: These Operating Instructions are also valid for other models of GCE
pressure control regulators. All illustrations are valid accordingly.
8.
WARRANTY
For the product there is a warranty 12 months or a warranty according local rules from
the day of its sale to customer. In case of complaint, the customer is obliged to submit the
receipt on purchase of the product.
SERVICING - REPAIRS
Guarantee repairs shall be carried out by manufacturing plant within 1 month after return of
defective products.
