Trouble Shooting Information
Should you encounter problems operating your MicroLoop meter,
please consult the table below:
Problem
display 'freezes' and the
unit does not respond to
any key presses
No display present
Does not register a blow
Blows are inverted on the
display
Blows tracing ends
abruptly although patient
still exhaling
Battery does not hold
charge
Stylus does not register

Solution
hold the on/off button
down for 10 seconds until
the unit switches off and
then turn on again
Connect charger to the
mains or return the unit
for servicing
Replacement of head
assembly or return the
unit for servicing
Replacement of head
assembly or return the
unit for servicing
Clean turbine in warm
soapy water or sterilising
solution, if problem
continues a replacement
turbine may be required
Replace the mains
charger
Re-position unit in the
cradle correctly, when
charging the orange light
will be illuminated.
Select the calibration
check icon and choose
touch screen, and follow
the instructions.
