5 ASSEMBLY

Before beginning to install:
− Switch the electricity supply to the storage cylinder's
valve group and to any associated boiler OFF at the main
switch and at the control panel
− Close the shut-off cocks for the domestic hot water circuit
− Empty the boiler's domestic circuit.
INSTALLATION ON BOILER
− Remove the cover of the flange with the insulation (A)
− Unscrew the nuts (B) and remove the flange from the
storage cylinder, using an M8 bolt screwed into the
threaded hole (C).

Keep the nuts safe.
− Check the sealing wear condition (D) and if necessary re-
place it with the one supplied with the accessory.
− Insert the flange with heating element (1) in the boiler
− Fasten the heating element flange (1) using the nuts (B),
previously removed as shown in the figure

Fill the boiler and check the hydraulic sealing of the seals
(flange and heating element).

− Insert the threaded pin (4), keeping the thread exposed
for 20 mm
− Place the bracket (2) keeping it turned (not vertical) so as
to facilitate the access to the heating element terminal
board and impress the nut (5)

− Perform the electrical connections between thermostat
and heating element described in paragraph "Electrical
connections"

Make sure the terminal lugs and nuts are securely fastened.
− Perform the rest of the electrical connections from the
thermostat to the power supply (see "Wiring diagrams")
− Fit the flexible insulation (10)
− Tighten completely the fastening nut (5)
