Obligations of the operating
company
The operating company owns or leases the product and
the peripherals. It is responsible that the intended use is
complied with at all times.
The operating company must:
Assign the different tasks to be performed on the
product to appropriate, qualified and authorized
personnel
Verifiably train the personnel in the authorizations and
tasks
Provide all materials and means necessary in order for
the personnel to complete the assigned tasks
Ensure that the product is operated only when in
perfect technical condition
Ensure that the product is protected from
unauthorized use

General safety precautions
The safety of any system incorporating the
use of this product is the responsibility of the
assembler or installer of the system.
The product supports the use of a wide
variety of peripheral devices from different
manufacturers. HEIDENHAIN cannot make
any statements on the specific safety
precautions to be taken for these devices. The
safety precautions provided in the respective
documentations must be observed. If no such
information has been supplied, it must be
obtained from the manufacturers concerned.
The specific safety precautions required for the individual
activities to be performed on the product are indicated in
the respective sections of these instructions.
