Installing IK 5000 card
NOTICE
A full-size PCIe slot is required for installing the IK 5000
PCIe card.
Plug the IK 5000 card into a full-size PCIe slot
Install the cardkeeper
Secure the IK 5000 card and cardkeeper with a bracket
screw
Tighten the screw to 0.6 Nm
Secure the card and cardkeeper with a bracket screw
Installing flyouts
Install the flyouts into the appropriate locations
Secure each flyout with a bracket screw
Installing flyout connecting cables
Each IK 5000 configuration combines flyouts that utilize
different sized connectors for each flyout. You cannot
connect a flyout to an incorrect IK 5000 card flyout
connector.
Plug one end of the ribbon cable into the flyout
Plug the other end of the ribbon cable into the IK 5000
flyout connector

Connecting PC power supply
Plug the SATA power cable from the PC power supply
into the SATA connector at the top of the IK 5000 card
Closing PC enclosure
Confirm that all cards, cable connections, and flyouts
are securely fastened
Replace the PC covers or panels

Connection possibilities
Devices are connected to the channel inputs provided on
the IK 5000 card and the flyout cards. The number and
type of connectors available for the devices may vary from
system to system.
