OPERATION

PREPARATION FOR HAND TOOL USE

1. Turn the machine completely off and unplug it
from electrical outlet.
2. Turn solution valve to "Accessory Position" or
reduce pump pressure to below 400 PSI (if
applicable).
3. Remove recovery hose (white cuff) from dome
and insert hose from accessory tool in its place.
4. Attach solution hose from accessory tool to the
"Accessory Tool Connection" usually located on
the chassis. Use vacuum and solution hose set
(example P/N 86004140 – PRV NO. 39128) or
solution adaptor (P/N 86027240 – PRV NO.
04079).
5. Make sure the solution tank has solution and
that the recovery dome and tank are in place
and ready for operation.
6. Plug the machine in and turn on only the
vac/pump switch. Do not turn on brush (if
applicable).
7. Turn off the machine and unplug it from
electrical outlet before disconnecting accessory
tool.
8. Make sure the solution valve is returned to the
"Carpet Spray Position" before returning the
extractor to standard carpet extraction (if
applicable).
TO USE HAND TOOL
1. Pull lever to begin spray. Both vacuum slots
should fully contact the surface to be cleaned. If
the surface is rounded or narrow, use the
upholstery shield provided (P/N 86253500 –
PRV NO. 73835R) to close the opening to
ensure thorough recovery.
2. Solution spray can be locked "on" by pulling
lever and pushing lock lever (P/N 86246710 –
PRV NO. 51249).
3. The brush comes in the storage position. If
agitation is required, slide the brush off the tool
and reverse. Bristle should extend
approximately 1/8" (3 mm) beyond the vacuum
shoe edge.
