The Limb Flites is designed to assist the caregiver for lifting and
supporting limbs of patients with reduced mobility, when positioning the
limb to perform various tasks, such as; foot care, wound care, venous
wrapping etc.
• Always read the label and check that the sling is in good condition
without signs of tear and wear such as loose seams, frays and material
inconsistency.
• Always make sure not to exceed the Service Work Load (Safe Working
Load) defined for the product.
• Always read the IFU for the lifting equipment to perform the lifting
Warning! Do not use the product if there is any signs of deterioration.
Do Not Wash - this product is designed for single patient use only and
should be disposed if in contact with liquid of any kind.
1. Always perform a risk assessment before starting the specific lifting
session in order to make sure the product model is correct and that the
lifting procedure is fully understood.
2. Before using the Limb Flites, read this IFU and the IFU for the lifting
equipment to be used
3. When soiled or stained the sling must be replaced immedeiately.
4. Check the Limb Flites for any fraying, loose stitching, attachments or
any deterioration.
5. Warning: Remember to write the patient's name on the care label in
order to avoid cross infection between patients.
6. After each use, check sling according to step 3 and 4 above.
7. Store in a dry area.
The Limb Loop Flites will fit most lifts standard hangerbars with loop
attachment hooks. Check the Lift manufacturers documentation for details.
The Limb Clip Flites will fit most hangerbars with clip attachment lugs.
