3. Power supply

With mains electricity:
220 - 240 V ac ~ 50 Hz for Europe, Australia, etc.
1. Insert the jack of the transformer [19] into the
socket [18] located on the back of the radio.
2. Insert the transformer [19] into the mains elec-
tricity power outlet.
With batteries:
n.4 1.5 V batteries (torch batteries)
To insert the batteries, first remove the transformer
[19] from the mains electricity power outlet.
1. Press on the pressure point [23] to release the
cover of the battery compartment [22].
2. Insert the batteries, being careful to arrange them
according to the polarity indicated inside the com-
partment [22].
3. Fit the cover back on [22].
4. Ecology
Environmental recommendations
Packaging:
The packaging materials used satisfy current
ecological standards. If space is available, we
recommend preserving the packaging of the product
at least for the entire Guarantee period. If you prefer
to dispose of it, it should be disposed of without
damaging the environment.
Batteries:
Batteries which are not of the ecological or "green"
type should be taken to the appropriate collection
points and disposed of as pollutants. In any case,
they should never be disposed of in the environment,
and in order to protect the environment, it is best if
only mercury-free batteries are used.
